Boardies® showcases new styles at The Iconic Swim Show in Sydney

Boardies® was stoked to be invited to take part in The Iconic Swim Show in Sydney, to showcase new styles that we just launched in Australia:

Featuring the worlds first floating runway fashion show, with 4 Boardies® looks featured in the evening show located in a perfect setting with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background.  Was amazing evening, models did a great job considering the wobbly catwalk.

Below are some high lights from the fashion show and party.

 Located at Mrs Macquaries's Chair, The Royal Botanical Gardens, the Iconic Swim Short too place on a floating catwalk with Sydney's most iconic sites in the background.

An array of fashion press, bloggers and brand representatives gathered with the Iconic team to watch the fashion show which 4 looks under the theme "Summer in Colour". Those looks included "90s Noir" - showing statement black and white through an early 90s lens, teaming retro silhouettes with sporty-chic accents.

Next look up was called "Lifesavers", featuring various brands red bikini, swim shorts sets and head turning accessories to get noticed on the sand.  Boardies® new "You're So Cool" Print swim shorts, inspired by the 90s classic film True Romance featured heavily in this look.

Styled with a pair of original Converse Chuck Taylors, which which also featured in the very nice good bag! 

Next look was called"Palm Springs", diving into the season's pool party vibes with sun bleached pastels and fruity prints.  Right up Boardies® street!!

Featuring the best seller Boardies® "Flair" palms print in new water melon colourway for this season, rocked in the Shortie length fit for those guys who want to show a bit more thigh!

The final Iconic look, which I think is fair to say we owned on the night was called "Retro Brights", dialling up the saturation with 80s-style brights thats really packs a punch.

Boardies® statement print shorts "Fresh Prince", really stood out on the catwalk an is already selling well!

Boardies® classic "Zaps" print was also featured, in a Shortie length, modelled alongside our friends at Deus.

As an independent label it felt pretty awesome being sat along so many established successful brands we admire.  Big shout out to the girls at Seafolly, the Pared sunglasses guys and the Deus boys at the party.

Was a super fun night and great way to kick of the new season with a blast!
